This week Samuel has given us a very quick and helpful video about two ways in which anybody can become a rich property entrepreneur.
- Deal Sourcing
Anybody with or without property investing experience can go on rightmove, zoopla or gumtree etc and find a property to buy. You then need to pick up the phone and call the estate agent and get a good deal. Anybody can get a good deal on a property and get them to agree a price which is below market value. You are now thinking but I have no money to invest? STOP! You are not going to buy the property you are going to pass the good deal you have got on to an investor with a finders fee. This fee could be £1,000 to £3,000.
One of those a month and you replaced an average salary.
- Find a property up for rent and increase the rent.
There are many ways in which increasing the rent on a rental property is possible.
Turning a single rental property into a HMO (House of Multiple Occupancy).
You can then rent the property of the landlord and turn it into a HMO. This process is called Rent to Rent.
With this strategy you do not own the property you just control it.
